Bachelor (Party) & Bestie

I stopped putting dates on my blog posts since the posts date themselves, so now quirky titles will be the new focus. Recently, I feel like I haven’t had much to say worthy of the blog, so my writing has died down a bit. I was chit-chatting with a girlfriend today, who just launched her own blog, and it reminded me of how excited I was when I launched mine! I was so excited and when I started realizing other people enjoyed it, it made it even more worthwhile. Sometimes life gets in the way, and we get side tracked but I am committing to coming back, full force, and not forgetting how happy this makes me.

I spend a lot of time on airplanes, so you’d think, I would have all the time in the world to write, but between work and online shopping, there isn’t much extra air time. As another lame excuse, Crunch got the worst haircut of all time so my library of Crunch pics has taken a strong pause. He is growing though, so we will be back at it before you know it.

Moving on, Bachelor Party & Bestie. Before you go thinking we hosted a bachelor party here, I will tell you what I really mean. The Bachelor & Bachelorette have always been engaging to me. What people in their right minds sign up amongst 30 others to date 1 guy and what 1 person signs up to date 30 people at once? Seems, complicated. But none the less, people do it. Typically, I watch the first episode and then look up who wins and watch the last, but this season the gal pals and I decided to swerve the spoilers and watch the full season, while also competing in a Bachelor bracket. SO last night, my bestie was in town from CA, and we watched said episode. It was hilarious. If you haven’t seen the video of the Iowa girl (Kelsey, I googled it) attempting to drink champagne from a bottle, forgetting the concept for carbonation and giving herself a champagne shower, you must absolutely do so now. Here’s a link for your viewing pleasure: https://nypost.com/2020/01/14/bachelor-2020-power-rankings-champagne-shake-up-in-week-2/

We had a blast to say the least. And we laughed at more than just the Bachelor. It is sooo good to have good friends who listen, give advice, and drink wine with you.

Aside from Bachelor Monday, nothing else too eventful in this house. Salt Lake City was on the agenda tonight, but a reroute canceled those plans.. man, flying for free is the best, ever. It would’ve been a quick turn around with my MLK weekend plans, but traveling has become a way of life in this house. Crunch is pretty happy plans changed… but we won’t tell Max.

I am sure I will have lots more after the weekend, but until then my friends, bye-bye!

P.S., how do we feel about the rebrand?
